Retreat Program

FOCUSED ON GOD

The Catholic Faith has a long history of encouraging and developing retreats. Traditionally, retreats are a time to “strip away” outside influences so that those on the retreat can be more fully focused on God.

At Judge Memorial we try to create an environment at our retreats that is conducive to spiritual growth and free from outside distractions. We want our students to be able to “get away from it all” and focus on spiritual realities and their relationship with God. To do this, we routinely hold retreats at neighboring churches or other locations.

KAIROS RETREAT

Judge offers what students frequently call a profound experience for interested Junior and Senior students to attend a Kairos Retreat. The word Kairos is a Greek word meaning “time” — specifically in this case “God’s Time.” This off-campus retreat weekend can often be a life-changing revelation for our students. They come away knowing that they are loved, understanding the importance of someone's story before judging them, and knowing they have a purpose in this world. You do not have to be Catholic to experience this profound level of personal discovery. Kairos retreats are optional and offered three times a year.
