The 2007-08 year was another epic campaign for Judge Memorial Catholic High School. The Bulldogs were awarded the 3A Sports School of the Year for the fifth time in six years (2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 & 2008). In addition to that honor, the Salt Lake Tribune awarded the school Boys' Sports School of the Year (all classifications), and among the Top 3 for the Girls.

In 2007-08, Judge turned in six team state championships, four runners-up, and countless individual state titles; a testament to the caliber of the Judge sports programs. More than 40 All-State athletes were named to the first team, second team, and honorable mention this past year. Six athletes won MVP honors for their respective sport and two were named All-American.

Judge offers a full gamut of boys and girls club and team sports: baseball, basketball, cheerleading, crew, cross country, fencing, football, golf, hockey, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track and field, volleyball, and water polo.

  1. Tyler Haws, Lone Peak, shooting guard: Haws is the most complete offensive player the state has seen in years. A BYU commit, Haws can score from all three levels. He's can shoot the ball with three-point range, he has a great jumper from 15 feet and he can get to the basket off the dribble. He's shown that for years, and it's one of the main reasons that he's one of the top 100 recruits in the country.

4. One of a kind Judge Memorial High School distance runner Luke Puskedra, who is now a freshman at the University of Oregon, had himself quite a spring this year.
