JPA Volunteer Hours & Safe Environment

Judge Parent Association (JPA)

All parents/guardians with students enrolled at Judge Memorial are automatically members of the Judge Parent Association (JPA).

Mission of JPA: To direct and coordinate parental support of Judge Memorial and our students through assistance at activities, athletics, social functions, and fundraisers; and to promote open communication, goodwill, and cooperation among parents, teachers, staff, and administration.

JPA Hours and Agreement

Each Judge Memorial family is expected to volunteer a minimum of 15 hours of service to the school during the school year, or donate $150 in lieu of service. The volunteer hours that you and your family provide Judge Memorial help in establishing community involvement for the benefit of fund raising, assisting team coaches, group moderators, class coordinators, and a myriad of other ways. Judge Memorial also uses these hours for grant writing and accreditation purposes. Judge Memorial JPA Coordinator is Mrs. Susan Lollini in the Advancement Office,

Submitting Your JPA Volunteer Hours: Parents/guardians are asked to track and report all service hours using our online volunteer tracker below. Each Judge Memorial family can choose one of the following ways in which to fulfill their parental service requirement:
  • 15 hours of service for the school each year
  • Pay $150 in lieu of service.
All Parent Volunteer Hours must be submitted or payment in lieu of service must be received by Friday, May 24, 2019
Checking Your JPA Volunteer Hours: Log on to your family's Skyward Account, click on "Student Info" and look for "Community Service".  Those are your volunteer hours.

Diocesan Safe Environment Training and Compliance Process

All parent/adult volunteers who will have contact with students are required to complete both the Safe Environment Compliance Training and Diocesan Background Check on-line through provider CMG Connect. For volunteers or chaperones, both requirements must be completed five (5) days in advance of the activity in order for volunteer approval to be given. Judge Memorial's Safe Environment Coordinator is Mrs. Kathleen Keller, in the Administration Office,
Step 1:  Pick up a volunteer hard copy packet in the Main Office, or see the file attachments below.
Step 2:  Access the on-line training and compliance platform via this link: Mrs. Keller can follow-up on the CMG site to check on progress, compliance and clearance. A Safe Environment Certificate is no longer printed.
Step 3: Please return your completed cover sheet to Mrs. Keller's mailbox in the Main Office.  It is important that we know in what capacity you wish to serve in at Judge Memorial Catholic School. Include your email address in case we need to contact you.
Thank you for helping to keep our students safe.
