Lars Andersen

Computer Technology, Department Chair

  • B.I.T., Western Governors University
Lars Andersen has been a member of Judge Memorial’s Computer Technology Department since 2014. He teaches 3D Animation & Graphics and Computer Science. Additionally, he is the I.T. Director for the school.
Mr. Andersen enjoys animation, technology, and education. He is fortunate to be in a profession where he is able to do all three! What he loves most about teaching is helping students and inspiring their creativity. Students who are fortunate to have had Mr. Andersen as an instructor describe his class as an "hands-on, interactive class". "You get out of the class what you put in to it."
The incredible kindness demonstrated by Fred Rogers, of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, is a quality Mr. Andersen seeks to model in his daily interactions with others. He is also inspired by the visionary and artistic work of Walt Disney. When asked what he would like to do if not in his current job, Mr. Andersen said, "Driving the train at Disneyland!" In his spare time, he is busy "building stuff" and has many building projects in the works, one being restoring antique pianos.
