Sheila Harkleroad

Sheila Harkleroad has been a member of Judge Memorial’s Math department since 1997. She teaches Advanced Geometry Honors and Algebra II. She also serves as the math department chair.

In her daily life, Ms. Harkleroad accepts the challenge found in the words of Joseph Campbell, “We must be willing to let go of the life we have planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us”. In the classroom, she is a source of support for many of her students. When asked who her role model is and why, Ms. Harkleroad shared, "My mother. She gives me strength." 

When not in the classroom, Ms. Harkleroad can be found enjoying the outdoors or working in her yard.

She would like to share the following words of advice with students as they go through life:  

“Be kind. For everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about."
