Darin Hathaway has taught at Judge Memorial since 2005. He teaches Film Studies, all levels of Theatre, and Technical Production. He moderates the Drama Club, and directs the annual musical as well as other mainstage productions. 

Mr. Hathaway's role model was his own high school theatre teacher who challenged him and was the source of inspiration in his chosen career path. In his work with his students and the audience, Mr. Hathaways draws from the words of playwright Bertolt Brecht: 

“Don't expect the theatre to satisfy the habits of its audience, but to change them.”

When he's not at work directing his talented students, you may find Mr. Hathway enjoying his second love, movies. When asked about what he loves most about his job, he shared, “I get to do what I love each day”.
