Bulldogs Making Media Waves

Judge Memorial introduced a new tradition in 2021 by launching an all-student broadcast crew, calling the play-by-play action and game analysis for Boys & Girls home basketball games, as well as during the State Tournament. Special thanks to Dr. Sloan and his New Media class for supporting the move. And thanks to our inaugural broadcast crew, from left to right: Oliver Liston, Owen Perry, Sam Butcher and Henry Frech. On the poetry front, congratulations to Michael Silas, who won the Salt Lake regional for Poetry Out Loud and will advance to the state finals on March 8. 
 
English 10 students saw unprecedented success during Mr. Pacenza's annual assignment to submit letters to the editor for possible publication. This year, four Bulldogs had letters published between The Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret News, while a fifth had a commentary published in the Tribune not related to English 10. That's got to be a record! Here they are:
