Brooke Healy joined Judge Memorial in the Social Studies department at the start of the 2020-2021 school year. She also acts as a Co-Advisor for Student Council, and Teacher/Club Moderator for the Debate Team.
Prior to joining Judge, she worked as a Social Studies teacher at West High in SLC, and Santa Clara High School in Santa Clara, CA.
Growing up in Washington state, Mrs. Healy attended a Catholic middle school and high school where she developed a deep appreciation for Catholic education. After graduating college, she began a career in administrative support within universities in California, until deciding to fulfill her long-time goal of becoming a teacher. Mrs. Healy received her Master of Arts in Teaching from Santa Clara University, and then began her dream career as a high school social studies teacher.
Outside of the classroom Mrs. Healy enjoys exploring the local sites and culture of SLC. Being new to Utah, she is often hiking in the mountains, or taking trips to the many beautiful landmarks Utah has to offer. Mrs. Healy also loves to explore and support local businesses. You will often find her trying out new restaurants, coffee shops, and cafes around the city. As a member of a large family that is spread out across the country, Mrs. Healy always values trips to see her loved ones. But she most values time at home with her husband and pup.
