Ms. Taylor Gustafson, an alumnus of the class of ’14, returned to her alma mater this year. Ms. Gustafson teaches in the Students Services department. In this role she works as a support system for students needing help in various aspects of school. She is also the Head Coach for the volleyball team.

Something people might find surprising about Ms. Gustafson is that she was lucky enough to travel to India in 2016 to work with adults with severe disabilities as well as teach English to High School students.

Everyone at some point has had a role model that impacted their life, for Ms. Gustafson it Marianne Bartman. Mrs. Bartman had an immediate impact on Ms. Gustafson her freshman year. Ms. Gustafson has nothing but fond memories and wonderful words to say about Mrs. Bartman, “She was warm and always made me feel welcomed and loved. No matter what she was going through in life she made a point to check in with me each day. She is one of the reasons I am back at Judge today.”

Ms. Gustafson’s favorite part about teaching and her job is the environment. She says she has great coworkers and her students are amazing. She loves getting to know each of her students individually and work with them on a daily basis.
