While in high school Ms. Strickland performed in the high school’s theater and vocal departments, which lead her to audition for All-State Choir. She placed in the top 10 for all Soprano 2’s and performed in multiple plays. She also was in AP Psychology where they incorporated lab rats to study psychological theories and theorists and “experienced a side of psychology not traditionally available to other high school students.” Ms. Strickland was also honored as “Student of the Month” senior year where she took her picture with her favorite rat from the AP Psychology lab projects.

When asked about her new job here at Judge Memorial Ms. Strickland said, “Working and interacting with students is a huge part of why I love working as a counselor.  I get to celebrate with them, help them problem solve, and watch them grow into who they are meant to become.”
