Summer College Bootcamp

REDUCE YOUR STRESS!!

Judge Memorial College Counselors invite you to sign up for these two summer opportunities!  Reduce your stress and get a jump-start on college planning. Limited space available, so sign up early! 

1. Registration: Registration may be completed online through the below registration link. You will need to submit a separate registration form for each participant. Sign up early as space is limited. Judge Memorial reserves the right to modify any offerings and to withdraw courses for which too few students are registered. 

2. Payment: Once you register your student(s) through the online registration portal, you will be able to submit your online payment through a payment link provided at the end of the registration process. Alternatively, you may come back to this page and make payment through the online payment link below. Please make sure to put your student(s) name(s) in the "note" section of the payment form. College Application Boot Camp  
August 6, 7 & 8 MTW 1:30-3:00p.m.
Cost:  $130 
This intensive workshop will assist seniors in completing a bulk of the college application before school starts. College Counselors, Ms. Koles and Ms. Sawaya will guide students through:

  • common application requirements
  • finalizing college lists
  • teacher/counselor recommendations
  • completing a senior "brag sheet"

Students are encouraged to bring their own laptop computer. There are a few computers in the lab for students to use.
 

Writing the College Essay
August 6, 7 & 8 MTW from 3-4:30P (Following the Application Boot Camp)
Cost:  $130
Need help writing your college admission essay? Writing the college admission essay can be a daunting task. It is often the scariest part of the admission process, but it doesn’t have to be. The workshop is designed to help students create a strong draft version or final version of the admissions essay that they will submit to colleges. Students are encouraged to bring their own laptop computer. There are a few computers in the lab for students to use.
