Cruise 2007
CRUISE 2007 FINAL DETAILS, INSTRUCTIONS & INFORMATION
•Arrive at the airport on Friday at 8:00am. Meet at the Delta International counter. Our flight is Delta #1825, departing at 11:30am and arriving Honolulu at 2:24pm. Make sure you have picture ID and a certified birth certificate, OR a valid passport. Also your printout of the online registration.
•NO FLIP FLOPS OR PAJAMA BOTTOMS ON THE PLANE! NO BARE MIDRIFFS! Dress comfortably, but respectfully!
•Please pack light! You will need your performance attire and that is as dressy as it gets! Those of you carrying smaller instruments (flute, violin, viola, alto sax, clarinet) can carry them on, but they count as your carry-on, along with one personal item (purse, backpack, laptop)
•The itinerary can be found at www.ncl.com (our ship is the Pride of America)
•Students, please make sure you have your music and instruments/supplies. DO NOT FOLD THE MUSIC!
•You will need $$$ for 8 meals (for the days we are not on board), the city bus in Honolulu, $1 per bag/instrument at the port, shopping (leave room in your bag!), any excursion you might want to take (like Pearl Harbor)…
•Remember the rule about liquids! They must be in a 3.5oz container, and all liquid containers must fit in a quart size baggie. Pack any other liquids and gels in your checked baggage.
•Our hotel on both ends of the cruise is the Ala Moana Hotel, 410 Atkinson Drive, Honolulu, Hawaii 96814-4722. Phone 1-808-955-4811. Fax 1-808-953-3982. We check-in at 3:30pm, and checkout at 11:00am on Saturday. We check back in on Saturday, the 14th at 3:30pm, and checkout on Sunday at 11:00am.
•Our flight back to Salt Lake is Delta #1826, departing at 10:20pm and arriving SLC at 8:36am Monday, April 16th. I advise you to make the kids come to school with a late check-in. They can sleep on the plane, go home to freshen up and change and still make most of the school day.
