How to Give
There are many ways to show your support of Judge Memorial Catholic High School. All gifts are tax-deductible as allowable by law.
Cash
The most straightforward of all giving options, cash provides immediate support of Judge Memorial Catholic High School: its programs, projects and plans for the future.
Pledges
You may make a pledge to support Judge Memorial Catholic High School with a fixed amount over a period of three to five years. A pledge demonstrates a solid commitment to Judge, and often allows you to give more over a period of time than would be possible in a one-time gift.
Matching Gifts
Many companies match employee gifts, allowing you to up to double the impact of your donation. Click here for a list of companies who offer matching gifts. This list is not exhaustive, so we encourage you to check with the human resources department at your workplace.
Stock Transfer
We welcome the gift of appreciated stock. Because this is an outright gift, similar to cash, Judge will be able to access the funds from the transfer immediately. Please contact us for more information: 801/521-6218.
Real Estate
Real estate is a valuable gift to our school. If adjacent to our campus, we can use it to expand our facilities. If remote, depending on the type of property, we can either use it as an off-site educational resource or sell it to translate your gift into much-needed liquid assets.
Personal Property
Judge Memorial Catholic High School will accept any personal item that may be of use to the operations of the school, or that we may in turn sell or auction to raise monies for the school.
Bequests
You may honor Judge with a bequest through your will. You may designate a specific asset, a percentage of an asset, or the residue or part of the residue of your estate. If you wish, you may work with us to plan an estate gift through the Catholic Foundation of Utah. Our inheritance and your legacy will be the continuation of the Judge tradition.
Trusts
Charitable remainder trusts provide a gift for the school while providing continuous yearly income for you or your specified beneficiary. You receive an immediate income tax deduction equal to a large percentage of your gift, and a portion of the income you receive over time is non-taxable.
Endowments
Establishing or donating to an endowment fund builds the principal amount in the account that then earns interest over time. Monies to the donor-designated beneficiary are drawn from the interest earned on the principal.
Volunteering
We are always in need of volunteers to help plan and work special events, assist with projects in the development office, implement seasonal fundraising projects, share the Judge message with other community members, provide support for school activities and sports, or chaperone school dances and other organized events. Volunteers are coordinated through the Judge Parent Association. Click here to download a volunteer form.
