Latin Trip: Fall 2013 'Pilgrimage to the Holy Land'

a message from Mr. Tim Soran

We’ve talked about it, we’ve dreamt about it, we’ve prayed about it … and now, we are able to announce it: Consider joining the Judge Memorial Latin classes on a 10-day trip of a lifetime, A Pilgrimage to the Holy Land!

Flying from an east coast departure, our group will land in Ben-Gurion Airport, near Tel Aviv and will be soon off to the Holy City of Jerusalem. The opportunities on this trip are stunning – Mount of Olives, Kidron Valley, an excursion to Bethlehem, a walking tour of the Old City, an outing to Bethany, West Jerusalem and Ein Karem, continuing to Capernaum, Nazareth, Mount Carmel, Haifa, and concluding in Caesarea, Jaffa and finishing up in Tel Aviv. Along the way, we will see such sites as the Basilica of the Nativity, Via Dolorosa, Church of St. Lazarus, Israel Museum, Sea of Galilee, Cana’s Wedding Church and so much more. As a group, we will be honored to attend Masses at the Basilica of the Agony, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Church of the Visitation of the Holy Spring, and the Church of the Beatitudes. In the 10 days of the trip, we will have traversed thousands of years, and seen the holiest of sites.

This extraordinary opportunity will be limited to a small group, with reservations taken on a first-come, first-reserved basis. For more information regarding the trip, meeting times, availability, or if you would like a detailed copy of the itinerary, e-mail Mr. Soran at
