Saldivar '09 named National Player of the Week

Stallon Saldivar, a junior for Northern Arizona University men's basketball team was named the National Mid-Major Men’s Basketball Player of the Week by College Sports Madness. Saldivar hit the game-winning 3-pointer with 0.6 seconds left in the 69-68 upset of the Pac-12 Arizona State Sun Devils.

Saldivar is a 2009 graduate of Judge Memorial Catholic High School in Salt Lake City, UT.

Also honored with National Basketball Player of the Week honors were Deshaun Thomas of Ohio State, national; Andrew Smith of Butler, high major.
