- Open to: parents of high school and middle school students, grades six and up
This Parent Education Night is a presentation designed for parents of high school and middle school students, grades six and up. Education of children in the areas of cell phone and Internet safety begins with educating the parents. This is a first step in the process of helping our students be more responsible in handling technology in today's world.
Our presenter Dr. Schwebach will discuss this important topic and provide parents with a "Parent's Guide on Internet and Cell Phone Safety."

Dr. Adam Schwebach is a Pediatric Neuropsychologist at the Neurology, Learning and Behavior Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is also a part-time certified school psychologist with the Weber County School District. Dr. Schwebach completed a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Eastern Kentucky University. He later completed a doctorate degree in educational psychology from the University of Utah. He is currently an associate editor for the Encyclopedia of Child Behavior and Development. He has published numerous book chapters and professional articles on topics related to autism and other childhood disruptive disorders such as ADHD and learning disabilities. Dr. Schwebach speaks nationally to parents on topics related to childhood psychopathology, parenting and education. He is the co-founder of Healthprompts.com, claritylearningcenter.com and the Healthy Minds Foundation.
