Held in both the fall and the spring, Parent-Teacher Conferences provide an opportunity for parents to speak individually with their student's academic teachers and/or guidance counselors.

When:
- Monday, October 11, from 2 – 7 p.m.
- Tuesday, October 12, from 2 – 5 p.m.
- Students will be dismissed at 1:35 p.m. on both Monday and Tuesday.
- Students riding on the Central Station shuttle and the Park City shuttle will depart from the parking lot at Judge at 1:50 p.m. both days.
- Please note that our fall break is on Thursday and Friday, October 14 and 15.
What can parents do to prepare?
There are a number of ways that parents can assist in keeping appointments with a teacher productive and on track. We recommend:
- Printing out from Skyward copies of your student’s grades, progress reports, homework assignments, attendance records, and anything else you may wish to discuss with your student’s teachers. Bring those printed copies with you.
- Discussing with your student any concerns or problems that you may then wish to discuss with your student’s teachers.
Parking:
- Permit zones surrounding the school will revert to free/exempt parking after 2 p.m. on both days.
- As we are an urban campus located in a residential neighborhood, we thank you for being respectful of neighborhood driveways, fire hydrants, bus zones and no parking zones. Although parking is exempt in permitted areas, city parking regulations remain in effect.
- The parking lots to the west and south of our buildings are reserved for teachers and staff throughout the day and evening, and should not be used by parents/guardians. Thank you for your cooperation.
Details:
- No appointments necessary.
- Parents meet with their student's teachers on a first come – first served basis.
- Student schedules will be available in the cafeteria.
- Faculty listing and subject location handouts will be available in both front school foyers.
- Please note that faculty will take a short dinner break on both days according to the schedule below. Thank you for planning your attendance accordingly.
- During unscheduled time, parents may tour the school, visit the counseling center, library and cafeteria. The Spirit Shop will be open for you to purchase your JudgePride gear. The Judge Parent Association (JPA) will also be available in the cafeteria to answer questions. JPA will serve light refreshments throughout the evening.
- Tickets for the 29th Annual Gala & Auction … Welcome Home! … will be on sale during parent/teacher conferences. Remember that the ‘early dog’ pricing of $75 per ticket is good through October 15, so it is a great idea to purchase your tickets before fall break.
- This is designed as a 'parents only' event and we encourage you to attend without your student.
Special Seminar:
- The National Collegiate Scouting Association (NCSA) is excited to bring a "College Recruiting Simplified" presentation to Judge on Tuesday, October 12, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
- The hour-long seminar is scheduled to take place in the Auditorium and is open to ALL SPORTS and ALL GRADE LEVELS.
- This presentation is filled with tools and inspiration to help families know how to navigate the recruiting process and designed to assist those student-athletes who have aspirations of continuing their sport in college.
- Most importantly, "College Recruiting Simplified" reiterates that the most valuable goal anyone should strive for is a college education.
- The session will be led by NCAA Presenter, Mr. Paul Putnam.
- Please contact Dan DelPorto with any questions, 801.517.2172 or ddelporto@judgememorial.com.
Please Note
Faculty will have a brief dinner break on Monday according to the following tentative schedule; please plan your attendance accordingly. If any chances are necessary, announcements will be made over the PA system throughout the afternoon and evening.
