Welcome Back! I hope all of our Judge families and students had a relaxing and enjoyable summer break.
I am looking forward to seeing how many of our Judge students worked on completing their Christian Service requirement. If you haven’t started there is still time; our local Utah Food Bank, Catholic Community Services, Neighborhood House and many more agencies need your volunteer help. Service Requirements
FRESHMAN: For the school year each student must complete 15 hours of service for/with your family and/or neighbors.
SOPHOMORE: For the school year each student must complete 25 hours of service at a place of worship or a school. ***NOTE that all Judge opportunities must be approved by Ms. Garcia.
JUNIOR: For the school year each student must complete 30 hours of service at a minimum of 3 approved non‐profit agencies for a minimum of an hour each. Each student is encouraged to seek out opportunities outside of their place of worship. Service at Judge will not be counted. Remember that junior year is about serving the Great Salt Lake community, in preparation to serve at one agency senior year.
SENIOR: For the school year each student must complete 45 hours of service at ONE approved non‐profit agency. Students must print of the agency contact and have it signed by the volunteer coordinator. All agency contracts are due by September 20th.

Save the Date!
Summer Service Hours DUE: 9/02/2010. Print off a verification form from the Christian Service website. You must submit your information on line and turn in the hard copy to Ms. Garcia.
Christian Service Fair: 9/16/2010. Meet a variety of local non‐profit agencies in need of volunteers.
Senior Agency Contract: 9/20/2010. You can find the contract online. Once you have chosen an agency submit information online and turn in the hard copy of the contract to Ms. Garcia.
