Web Site Tip of the Week: Aug 23
An overview of the layout of the Judge Memorial Home Page
The Judge Memorial Catholic High School Web site home page is set up with three main sections. On the left, you will find a series of headlines, or five timely articles of special interest. Below the headlines are Today’s Events. In the middle of the page, under the rotating slides, you will find what is referred to as the ‘spotlight story’ or the feature story. On the right, there are three images, or “spotlight images,” that highlight upcoming events or items of special interest.
Additional home page navigation tools are the Quick Links box and Main Navigational Menu.
The Quick Links box on the upper right of the page includes quick links to such sites as the daily calendar, the calendar at a glance, the magazine drive, and the Student-Parent Handbook.
The main navigational site menu is located horizontally across the top portion of the page, just under the top red banner. This menu section, with a series of 10 headers, include additional drop down menus to assist you in locating information.
Here’s a Tip: A great place to start your tour of the Judge Web site is via the NEWS header.
