Jake Brugger, a senior at Judge Memorial Catholic High School, is among 53 students in the U.S. — the only one in Utah — who received a GLOW National German Achievement Award for 2010-11.

The awards recognize a high level of student achievement in German. Winners receive a gift card from Borders Books, and winners and their teachers get a year’s subscription of German World Magazine.
