Judge presents Presidential Service Awards
Celebrating Commencement '10: Presidential Service Awards Presented to Judge Students
Judge Memorial Catholic High School awarded the Presidential Service Awards to 29 students at its Activities and Athletics Awards Assembly on Monday, May 24, 2010, in the school’s Auditorium.
The Presidential Service Awards recognizes high school students and their schools for service in the community. Service hours in the amount of 100 or more per student in a calendar year qualify for the Presidential Service Award. These awards are based solely on the number of service hours donated by a student within a year’s time. There are three levels of recognition: Bronze, for 100 hours; Silver, for 175 hours, and Gold, for 250 hours or more.
Students are required to fill out an application and submit it according to established deadlines. Routinely, completed applications are due in late April.
