Dress and Grooming Code

Implicit in a student’s acceptance at Judge Memorial is a commitment to abide by the uniform and grooming code. A school uniform fosters the idea that a student’s uniqueness derives from within, not from his or her appearance. In addition, dress regulations contribute to a positive school learning environment and lend dignity to the school community. The principal, assisted by the deans of students, interprets the application of the dress code. The parent/guardian is responsible for purchasing the proper uniform as indicated.

It must be understood that the faculty and staff have not only the right, but also the obligation to enforce Judge Memorial Catholic High School Dress Code and to refer students not in compliance to the Deans’ Office.

Students will be in uniform at all times while on campus with exceptions of during P.E. and dance classes. Students are expected to arrive at school in uniform. Students are required to be in uniform for all assemblies and field trips. Students may not check-in or check-out of school unless they are in full uniform. Students who are not in compliance with uniform standards will not be allowed to attend class until the problem is corrected and may receive disciplinary consequences.
