Located in the heart of The Gateway, Discovery Gateway Children's Museum is conveniently located near several restaurants and plenty of parking space. Although Winter's is traditionally a girl's choice dance, you do not need a date to come and have a good time. Hope to see you all there!
Parents, please pick up your student PROMPTLY no later than 10:30 p.m. We thank you for not having your student wait for your arrival, and for being respectful of the time and effort of our parent volunteers and school chaperones.
We welcome Parent Volunteers to help with the event in the coat check area and water station. Volunteers may assist in shifts or are welcome to stay for the entire event. Parents should arrive at the venue by 7:20 a.m.; the dance runs from 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. If you are interested in volunteering please contact Amee Garcia in advance of the event (agarcia@judgememorial.com).

Just a quick reminder of guidelines applicable to school-sponsored dances (reprinted from the Student-Parent Handbook):
Students must arrive at all school-sponsored dances by 9 p.m. and will not be allowed to leave the dance until 10 p.m. This rule applies to dances held both on and off campus. Once a student leaves the dance, he or she will not be permitted to return.
Students: if you plan on bringing a guest from a different school, you MUST obtain a guest pass form from the main office before purchasing a dance ticket. If you do not obtain a guest pass on or before Friday, February 10, and do not have proper ID for your guest, your guest will not be admitted to the dance. There will be no exceptions. Passes may be obtained from Deans' Office with a valid picture ID on a space-available basis. Guests must be no younger than 14 and no older than 18. Judge students and their guests must present their student or photo ID when attending a dance.
Apparel for dances must be modest and appropriate. The administrator in charge may require an inappropriately dressed student to go home and change clothes. Parents, thank you for ensuring that clothing attire is appropriate for a school function, and follows the school guidelines. Attire must be modest and appropriate to the academic setting. No tank tops, no bare midriffs, no torn clothing, no short skirts, no short shorts, no inappropriate logos, etc. For more, refer to the Personal Grooming Standards in the handbook.
The administrator in charge determines what behavior is appropriate and reserves the right to send student home for behavior deemed by the administrator to be inappropriate. Parents/guardians are required to pick up that student upon notification.
If a student is dancing inappropriately, on their first offense they will be asked to leave the dance floor and report to a room monitored by a Judge faculty member. On the student's second violation, parents will be called and notified to pick up their student from dance, or the school will hold the student in the room until the end of the dance 10:30 pm.
For additional information for both parents and students, please review page 16-17 of the student handbook.
