Bulldog of the Month: Amelia!
Frosh Amelia Wolfgramm is our Bulldog of the Month for February 2011!
A freshman on the girls’ swim team, Amelia was one of the leaders that brought home the UHSAA 3A State Championship, the eighth title in nine years, and the 10th title overall for the school. Amelia capped off her rookie season being named the 2010-2011 UHSAA 3A Female Swimmer of the Year honors. She earned an individual title in the 100 yard free, and followed that up a few events later with a blistering 56.11 in the 100 back to set a new overall state record in the 100 back and qualify for junior nationals. To finish off the day, Amelia anchored the outstanding 400 free relay team that swam a remarkable 3:46.41, taking over nine seconds off their season best time. After medaling in the 200-yard medley relay, Amelia gave her medal to the alternate for that event. After receiving the Swimmer of the Meet trophy, she turned around and gave it to the boys’ and girls’ team. She did all this while earning a spot on the honor roll for the first two quarters.
Amelia Wolfgramm is honored as the February 2011 Bulldog of the Month because of her dedication to her studies, her loyalty to her team, her commitment to swimming, and her sense of sportsmanship and integrity. She’s amazing!

Student Council coordinates the monthly Bulldog of the Month campaign for Judge Memorial. StuCo encourages teachers, staff, administration and students to nominate Judge students who may be deserving of this honor. Nomination forms can be picked up in the main office and turned into Ms. Mulick. The Bulldog of the Month could be someone who exemplifies a strong moral character; it could be someone who shines in athletics; it could be someone who excels in his or her activity or club; or it could be someone who just deserves additional recognition. Check the bulletin board in the southwest corner of the cafeteria for details on monthly award recipients.
