Starting last year, the Judge Memorial Amnesty Club and Multi-cultural Club merged, to make the Peace and Justice Alliance. Advisor, Ms. Morgan had stated previously that the Peace and Justice Alliance promotes tolerance, dispels stereotypes, and shows that all races should get along.
One of the activities that the club has done in the past is the disability lunch. This is where students tie bandanas around their eyes for a day to "see" how it is to be blind. Others would tie their arm behind their back to see how a person with no arm would feel.
A number of other activities occur during the year, including events during Black History Month, and last year for Martin Luther King Jr., Day, some of the students went of campus.
The students that are in charge this year have yet to be announced. So for now, feel free to talk to Ms. Morgan or Mrs. Lovett.
