On Tuesday March 1, the Judge Memorial Interact Officers attended the annual student Rotary Luncheon. Officers included Marissa Fuller, president; Lexy Wright, vice president; Sarina Karwande, secretary; Chris Turner, treasurer; and Emily Strand and Genevieve Bennett, auction, donations, and PR committee. The officers from Judge were joined at the luncheon by Mrs. Susan Monserett and Dr. Corethia Qualls, our moderators, and a surprise visit from our principal, Mr. Rick Bartman.

Each Interact Club in attendance, including East High and Rowland High, presented the Rotarians with their global project for this spring. President Marissa Fuller wowed the group with a stunning PowerPoint presentation about Judge’s help for a school in rural Liberia. At the end of the presentation, Fuller invited all the Rotarians to the Interact banquet.

This year’s Judge Interact Club Benefit Dinner will be held in the Dance Studio on March 15 beginning at 6 p.m. All are invited for food, a silent auction, and night of entertainment. Proceeds will go to benefit a school in Liberia by the addition of a small medical clinic, medical supplies, and a trained nurse.
