After working through a very intense season of summer league play, the Judge Hockey Bulldogs are ready to take the lead this coming winter and spring season. The young Bulldogs look to rebuild the program with a great group of eager and dedicated new arrivals. This group of guys have been training hard and no matter what the end of the game looks like, they always hold their heads high. Whether you get a glimpse of one of Shawn Benvegnue's slapshots into the goal, or see one of Josh Cummings' speed skate to defense, all of the games are riveting and intense so we encourage all to join. This is going to be a great season!

Bulldogs Post Win in Shoot-out

The Judge Memorial Catholic High School Ice Hockey Team posted a big win in a shoot-out with NUI Panthers, 9-4. In a game played a the County Ice Center in Murray, seven different Bulldogs scored goals.

Leading the way with three goals was Shepard Scott. Scoring twice was Shawn Benvegnu. Also putting up points were Steve Strehl, Nicholas Brown, Andrew Bergquist, and Matt Huntsman.

Credited with assists on goals were Andrew Bergquist, Shawn Benvegnu, and Shepard Scott.

Bulldogs Win 4-1

The Judge Hockey squad were victorious in their game Wednesday evening against South Valley Independent, 4-1. Scoring goals for the Bulldogs at the Olympic Oval were Shepard Scott, Andrew Bergquist, and Stevie Strehl with assists by Shawn Benvegnu.

Judge Wallops Bonneville

Judge Hockey won their game 8-0, on Monday night against Bonneville. Shawn Benvegnu scored 4 goals and had 1 assist; Wilson Lamb had 1 goal and an assist; and Stevie Strehl logged in 1 goal and 2 assists. Andrew Bergquist added a goal, as did Matt Huntsman.

Our First Game

We will be having our very first game, Monday, September 8 in Logan against Sky View. The game begins at 6pm.

To all players: remember you need to bring money for the ride home so we can catch a bite. We will be back late around 10:30 (estimated) so lets get all our work done on the ride up and hopefully celebrate on the way back. Can't wait to see you all there!

FYI- Dryland is every Tuesday and Thursday at 3:30 at Sunnyside Park unless otherwise specified. Everyone should really try and come and you are encouraged to inform Coach Brown if you cant make it.
