Celebrating Catholic Schools Week '12: Wednesday Reflection

The Utah Catholic Schools will celebrate Catholic Schools Week 2012 - Faith.Academics.Service. - the week of January 29-February 5.

Tuesday through Friday morning before prayer, one of our students, representing each grade level, will read a short personal statement on their feelings about attending a Catholic school.

The reflection on Wednesday, February 1, is offered by Ally Dugan, Class of 2014:

"I like going to a Catholic School because we can have open and honest dialogues about our faith in the classroom. But mainly I love going to a Catholic School because it is a community, and not just a community of Catholics but of people who respect and celebrate their religious differences."

The reflection on Wednesday, February 1, is offered by Matt Hirning, Class of 2012:

"Lord, You called John Bosco to be a teacher and a father to the young. As we celebrate Catholic Schools Week, fill us with love like his. May we give ourselves over to Faith, Academics, Service as we travel through our four years here at Judge. We ask this through Christ the King, our Patron, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever, Amen."
