Celebrating Catholic Schools Week '12: Friday Reflection
Celebrating Catholic Schools Week '12: Friday Reflection The Utah Catholic Schools will celebrate Catholic Schools Week 2012 - Faith.Academics.Service. - the week of January 29-February 5.
Tuesday through Friday morning before prayer, one of our students, representing each grade level, will read a short personal statement on their feelings about attending a Catholic school.
The reflection on Friday, February 3, is offered by Trent Clifford, Class of 2012:
"I go to a Catholic school because it is awesome. Every since preschool at St. Vincent, I knew that my education was going to be something special. Throughout the years, I’ve developed a greater sense of community, one that you don’t always find at a public school. Here at Judge, I learned how morality and social justice are just as important to know as biology or calculus. Knowing how to be a better person through faith, and developing a greater sense of community are two of the reasons why I got to a Catholic school.”
