All Utah Catholic Schools are committed to making a Catholic education available to every child who wishes to attend a Catholic school. We at Judge Memorial Catholic High School understand that a Catholic school education is a gift that leads to a brighter future, and we know that this gift represents a significant investment and commitment for any family. Judge Memorial works with families on a confidential, individual basis to ensure that qualified students have the opportunity to attend our school. Tuition forgiveness may be available to those families who show demonstrated need of financial support. This assistance is made to as many students and families as possible, regardless of their economic, ethnic or racial backgrounds.

Financial Tuition Forgiveness

If you are applying for any amount of tuition forgiveness below the Regular Tuition charge or the qualified Catholic Tuition amount, step one is to complete a tuition forgiveness application (FACTS) available in the school finance office, and send it along with your check for $20 and all the other forms required to FACTS online before April 15, 2011. Because tuition forgiveness is limited, it is imperative that you submit your application and other required forms (tax forms, etc.) before the deadline. You will be advised by the financial aid office by May 15 of your tuition amount.

FACTS is an independent, third party agency that processes all applications and determines the amount of need based on financial information provided, including your most recent income tax returns. FACTS will determine a baseline tuition rate for your family based on information submitted; this is step two. Judge Memorial also takes into consideration any special circumstances facing families, such as medical issues, elder care, family members with special needs, job loss, number of children in Catholic school, and the like. Step three: applicants to FACTS should know that the opportunity to discuss individual situations one-on-one with school representatives is available after the FACTS process is complete.
