Placement Exam for the 2012-2013 School Year

Placement Exam Schedule

  • The JUDGE MEMORIAL PLACEMENT EXAM for incoming ninth graders will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2012.
  • Pre-Registration is requested by January 5, 2012, no later than 3 p.m.
  • A downloadable registration form for the placement exam can be found below in the file attachments.
  • An electronic registration form is available at this link: electronic Placement Exam Registration form
  • 8 a.m. – Report to auditorium (West of Main Bldg.) 11th East entrance south side of main building between Judge Memorial Catholic High School and Our Lady of Lourdes Parish.
  • 8:10 a.m. – Testing begins.
  • 11:35 a.m. – Testing ends.
  • Each student will be given an application for admission for fall 2012 at the end of the exam. Be Sure To Ask Your Student For This Application! Completed applications are due Monday, February 6, 2012.

Make-Up Placement Exam Schedule

  • The JUDGE MEMORIAL PLACEMENT EXAM MAKE-UP for incoming ninth graders was Friday, January 20, 2012.
  • Pre-Registration is requested by January 19, 2012, no later than 3 p.m.
  • A downloadable registration form for the placement exam can be found below in the file attachments.
  • 3 p.m. – Report to Classroom 215 (located on the same floor as the main office).
  • 3:10 p.m. – Testing begins.
  • 6:15 p.m. – Testing scheduled to end.
  • Each student will be given an application for admission for fall 2012 at the end of the exam. Be Sure To Ask Your Student For This Application! Completed applications are due Monday, February 6, 2012.

Parents/Guardians Please Note! Your student needs to bring the following to the exam (on either date they attend):

  • Calculator Only (cannot be a cell phone)
  • #2 pencil, and some extras
  • $25 exam fee payable on day of the exam. Exact cash amount or check payable to Judge Memorial Catholic High School.
  • Please have *check or cash in an envelope with your student's name on the outside of the envelope. This fee will be collected from your student before testing begins. *Credit/Debit cards will not be accepted. We thank you for planning accordingly.
  • If payment for the placement exam causes a financial strain, please contact Mr. Jerry Burchett (801.517.2139, jburchett@judgememorial.com).

Acceptance Details

  • Letters of acceptance for the 2012 Fall Semester Freshmen Class will be mailed to parents/guardians by March 1.
  • Please carefully read your child's acceptance letter. Specific registration dates and times along with tuition information will be provided in this letter.
  • Monday, March 5, 2012, is Registration Night for the Class of 2016

Application Details

  • Completed applications are due Monday, February 6, 2012.
  • Parents, regardless of the school your child is presently attending (i.e., Catholic, private, public, etc.) it is your responsibility to clearly complete the application with current and complete information.
  • You will be required to include with the application a copy of your student's first semester or first trimester report card for 8th grade, along with the completed immunization record.
  • Incomplete applications will be returned.
  • Applications should be mailed in by February 6. If delivering in person return to Ms. Rita Scholl in the Main Office by 4 p.m. on Monday, February 7.
  • Completed applications, regardless of when they are received in the Main Office, will not be submitted for review before February 6.
  • Monday, March 5, 2012, is Registration Night for the Class of 2016.
