The music program at Judge is led by Mr. Tyler Boegler. The school has a full array of musical options – madrigals, chamber orchestra, chorale, concert band, jazz band, jazz quarter and Show Choir. Some of the notable entertainment figures that Judge music students have performed with include Josh Groban and Michael Buble.

Seven Bulldogs receive Superior, Qualify for State Music

Congratulations to the following musicians who received a "Superior" at the 2014 Region 6 Solo/ensemble and qualify for the State Music Festival: Frances Dingivan, Sierra Jensen, Ben Keller, Nikki Potts, Liz Reynolds, Meghan Thomsen, and Jessica Weyman.

Feb 4: Judge Memorial's Chamber Night

Judge Memorial Catholic High School's Performing Arts Department presents its annual Chamber Night on Tuesday, February 4, at 7 p.m. in the Music Room.

Chamber Night is a recital-style musical performance in an intimate setting. Judge’s Chamber Night provides students the opportunity to perform outside of their usual involvement in class. For instance, a singer may play piano or guitar, as well as show off what he/she does best. Students often use this opportunity to perform some of their favorite pieces, or to explore something completely different. Read more »

Winter Music Concert: December 16

You are cordially invited to join us for the 2013 Annual Winter Music Concert on Monday, December 16, at 7 p.m. in the Judge Auditorium.

The performing groups are Show Choir, Concert Choir, Jazz Band, Concert Band, Percussion Ensemble and Orchestra. The concert is free, but donations are encouraged and much appreciated.

Get into the holiday spirit and enjoy the inspiring music of our talented Judge students. What better way to spend an enjoyable early holiday evening!

Fall Music Concert: October 14!

The outstanding Judge Memorial Music Department will present its Fall Music Concert on Monday, October 14, 2013, beginning at 7 p.m. in the Auditorium.

Lead by new choir, orchestra and band director Tyler Boegler, the Bulldog Musicians have been practicing diligently the first few weeks of the school year to prepare for this show.

May 23: Jazz on the Beach '13

Jazz on the Beach '13 will be held on Thursday, May 23, beginning at 6 p.m. on The Beach.

Jazz Band will perform and we will have an open mic if anyone would like to add to the joy of the evening. Last blast of the year for our music department and our seniors; rootbeer floats to be served!

Four Judge Memorial musicians receive Superior Rating at State '13

Congratulations to the following Judge Memorial students who excelled at the UHSAA 3A Solo/Ensemble and Orchestra Festivals this spring. All four received a Superior Rating, along with a certificate and medal for their achievement.

May 10: Spring Music Concert '13

The Judge Memorial Catholic High School annual Spring Music Concert will be held on Friday, May 10, at 7 p.m. in the Judge Auditorium.

This is the Grand Finale for the 2012-2013 music students. All groups will perform: Concert Band, Jazz Band, Concert Choir, Orchestra, Percussion Ensemble and Show Choir. Attendees will be treated to a jam-packed musical extravaganza of solos, duets and very special senior showcases. Emme Nelson, a senior at Judge Memorial CHS; and Connor McCoy, a junior at Judge Memorial CHS, were selected as outstanding soloists at the SLCC Jazz Festival.

Judge Excels at SLCC Jazz Festival '13

Students from Judge Memorial recently participated in the annual Salt Lake Community College Jazz Festival with outstanding results.

Senior Emme Nelson and junior Connor McCoy were selected as outstanding soloists at the Festival. Additionally, Connor was asked to be a soloist at the evening concert, as were both the Judge Show Choir and Judge Concert Choir. The Judge Memorial music department is coordinated by Mrs. Ramona Mayer.
