Arts Department

An intermediate class in theatre arts. Students will audition, rehearse, and perform short plays. Theatre history and dramatic literature will be discussed with the emphasis on the craft of acting. Readings, classroom exercises, and assignments are designed to enhance acting techniques in an attempt to improve stage performance. In addition, some students will have the opportunity to prepare scenes and monologues for region and state drama competition.
