Freshman Individual Planning Meeting

This meeting is for all incoming Freshmen. Each counselor will meet individually with a student for about 45 minutes. We do this meeting so that we can get to know each student; so that the student feels more comfortable with his/her counselor; so that the student is beginning to think about classes, college and career options.

Each counselor will initiate a meeting with your student. Typically, the student is taken out of their elective class so that it is a bit easier for the student to make up any missed work. This absence is an excused absence.

Students take notes while the counselor fills out information on their student file. The student will bring the notes home to discuss with parents, get a signature and then bring back to school.
